Frequently Asked Questions

When can I join Croydon Little Athletics?

The Summer Little Athletic year begins approximately in October and runs through to the following March. The Cross Country Season starts in late April and runs through to July.

Normally there will be a special Registration day organised just prior to the start of each season. The 2007/2008 season the Registration Day was the 15th of September between 9.00am and 12.00noon. Summer registrations carry over to the Winter Cross Country Season. For other dates check the
Calendar page.

A form of "Proof of Age" must be provided before the registration can be completed. Typically a Birth Certificate or Passport is best but anything 'Official' will generally suffice. This is only required at the time of first registration and is not required at subsequent re-registration.

Which of the 6 Clubs in the Croydon Centre can I join?

Club allocation is not mandatory and all athletes are entitled to select and join the club of their choice. Most children will make the choice to join friends from families or school which are already in a club. If you are unsure of which club to join each club has a list of feeder schools from where generally their members are from. Please visit the club pages for a list schools allocated to that club.

If you do not have a preference for a club the centre may direct you to a club to help balance numbers in each club
